Meet Our Team
Bedont Orthodontics Team: What Makes Them Special?
At Bedont Orthodontics, we are very interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is an expanded function orthodontic dental assistant (EFODA) and is certified in radiation health and safety, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.
The best part of my job is making people smile. When I joined the office in 1997 as a high school senior I only got to see a glimpse of what was so great about what we do. After finishing school I rejoined the team as a clinical assistant in 2002 and have since enjoyed seeing the magic of making smiles every day. I work hard with patients on education, cooperation and good oral hygiene, and help all patients understand the importance of everything we do, every step of the way. It is important to me that my patients love coming to see me. I want to be the best part of their day!
When I am not building lasting friendships with my orthodontic family I love to be at home with my husband and two teenagers, Braedon and BreeAnn. I love piling on the couch to watch movies and eat junk food when I can't play outside, and camping and 4-wheeling when I can.

I joined the dental field in 2004 as a front office coordinator in an orthodontic office. The best part of working in orthodontics is meeting new patients, visiting them and their families on a regular basis and watching their smiles transform. I love working here at Bedont Orthodontics because every team member is outstanding at patient care and strives to go above and beyond for our patients and their families.
Any spare time I have is spent with my husband and our three young kids doing anything outdoors. We enjoy camping, beach trips, playing on our softball teams, and traveling any chance we get.
I started my dental career in 1981 as Dental Assistant in a general dentistry. I moved to the Orthodontic industry in 2003 and have enjoyed helping to create the beautiful smiles that people dream of! I have had the pleasure of working in every aspect of the office. To me it doesn’t matter what I am doing inside the dental office, it matters what I am doing for people on the outside of the office. We are changing lives every day and to be part of that process is amazing!
In my spare time I like to paint, workout and dive into a good book when I have the opportunity! I am married to my high school sweetheart and we enjoy traveling. I have one Grandchild that occupies my free time and teaches us every day what we are grateful for!
My role as a scheduling coordinator brings a lot of joy to me because I know that every day I get to make a difference in our patient’s lives. I do that by helping them feel better about their smile. I know that a simple task of scheduling a consultation will help get them where they want to be with their smile. I worked as a bank teller for about four years before I decided to go into the orthodontic field. Although this wasn’t my career choice from the beginning, I’m happy to know that in this job you make a difference in people’s lives.
I’ve been happily married since 2017. I enjoy my time off with my family creating new memories.
Having years of experience in the medical field, the dental field is a new adventure for me. After my first day at Bedont Orthodontics, I was hooked. Nothing beats seeing that beaming smile coming from someone who just got their braces off. They are truly so happy and excited that I cannot contain my own excitement for them! I enjoy every bit of interacting with our patients and their families as well as strive to make them feel right at home when they come into our office.
When I am not at work you can catch me around town with my husband and our three little kiddos playing at the park, going for a bike ride, swimming at the nearest river, attending church and activities, or enjoying the best new family movie. We absolutely love our family time together. My own hobbies include reading a good book, crafting my heart out, blogging, or working on our next home remodel project.
Right out of high school I got my start in the dental field as a treatment/financial coordinator in a dental office. In less than a year I realized my true desire was actually treating patients in the clinic. I followed that desire and have never looked back. I love my career as an orthodontic assistant! It is very satisfying, even exciting, to be a part of changing one of our patient’s lives by straightening their smile. There’s nothing better than seeing that great big brace-free grin the day the braces come off!
I grew up in Portland and met and married my husband, Mike, in 1990. Mike and I like to spend lots of time with family. We enjoy the outdoors, sports, cooking, taking long drives and serving in our church and community.
I started dental assisting school my junior year of high school. My second year of the program I was given the opportunity to have an internship at Bedont Orthodontics. This is where I decided orthodontics was my passion! I love getting to help people achieve their beautiful smiles!
When I am not Helping people achieve their smiles I love being outside and spending quality time with friends and family!
I have been in the dental field since 2002. I joined the awesome team here at Bedont Orthodontics in 2020. I strive to help patients feel calm and comfortable during their treatment and take great pride in assisting to achieve confident beautiful smiles.
I’m originally from Maryland and moved here from Hawaii in 2018. Being a prior Navy wife I’ve lived in my fair of states and I’m now proud to call Oregon my home. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and our three amazing daughters.

I joined Bedont Orthodontics in 2019 without any prior experience in the dental or orthodontics field. Before joining the team, I had always worked with animals with medical needs. But what drew me to working in orthodontics is seeing everyone's confidence grow as their smile improves over time. It inspires me to see great changes in the patient's smile.
Outside of the office, I love to take pictures and go on adventures with my husband and cats. Occasionally we will take my horses out and go trail riding. I enjoy anything with the outdoors but I also am an extreme lover of tea and staying bundled up at home.
