What Is Invisalign®?
Invisalign uses a series of invisible, clear, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing. So, you can smile more during treatment as well as after. Invisalign is made with 3-D computer imaging technology and has been proven effective to correct unwanted gaps between teeth, an over bite, under bite, cross bite, or overcrowding.
Why Would I Want Invisalign®?
Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. They are also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment. And no metal or wires usually means you spend less time visiting Dr. Bedont to get adjustments.
Invisalign also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.
How Long Until I See Final Results?
On average, it takes anywhere from 6 to 12 months for your teeth to straighten - but you may start to see the first signs of your teeth shifting into place during the first two weeks. The more severe the malocclusion, the longer treatment will take to correct it. To receive the most predictable results it is important that aligners are worn at least 22 hours per day. Aligners should be removed only to eat, drink liquids other than water and brush.
A great way to know what to expect is to see the custom, animated 3-D preview of your teeth movements. Because we implement specialized 3-D imaging that is used to create your custom set of aligners, you'll know exactly what to expect!

Invisalign In 1/2 The Time!
For the fastest treatment possible, we suggest including Acceledent with your Invisalign treatment. This small, take-home device is designed for patients to use 20-minutes a day. It gently vibrates the teeth and gums with special technology that is clinically proven to move teeth the way they are planned to go up to 50% faster. PLUS this device has been reported to make orthodontic treatment more comfortable; many patients opting to use AcceleDent as a drug-free pain relief option.
Invisalign Teen
Invisalign® isn't just for adults. Invisalign Teen is tailored to the extra demands of a teenager, and can give you the great result you are looking for without having to wear braces! This is a great option for improved confidence as well as ease of oral hygiene. Dr. Bedont is a Certified Invisalign Teen Provider and can help you determine if Invisalign Teen is right for you or your teenager.
iTero 3D Digital Scanner
iTero enables Dr. Bedont to take a 3D digital scan of patient's teeth and bite, make adjustments in real time, and transmit the file wirelessly for processing. It provides an extremely accurate 3D view of your mouth in less than 10 minutes. Once the scan is complete you will see a 3D simulation of your orthodontic treatment outcome, so you will know exactly what to expect! The data can then be sent to the Invisalign lab to get your aligners started with the click of a button. This technology is a great advancement and very comfortable and convenient for our patients.
Cold Laser Therapy (Low Level Light Therapy)
Invisalign patients enjoy our complimentary "cold laser" therapy that is incorporated into every treatment. Cold Laser therapy is a safe, natural, therapeutic treatment that increases circulation to promote comfort and healing. Cold Laser therapy is a low-intensity laser therapy often used in sports medicine that uses low levels of light to stimulate a cellular response resulting in improved healing, pain reduction and a reduction in inflammation. During the treatment, you’ll feel the device against your lips and cheeks, but it creates no heat, sound, or vibration, and it takes only a few minutes.
